Do all ls1 headers fit in a 2004 Gto?

I'm looking to purchase longtubes headers. When I look around some places say for Camaro trans am and Gtos, other just say Gtos or ether way. Just wondering if I order LT for a ls1 are they going to fit for the 2004 Gto?

Make sure they are specific to GTO's. Your best bet is to call whatever company your planning on getting them from and confirm they are GTO headers.

the answer is no. There is more to the headers than just if they fit on our heads. You have to look at the angle of the piping and how they are run towards the back of the vehicle. Every car is differenrent when it comes to where teh pwoer steering rack is, or where the midpipes will marry up with the header, and so on. Like ram09 said, call the company and make sure they are specific to our cars.

Or you can do like I did and wish for the past 4 years that I got Kooks from the beginning and just now correcting myself for it. Kooks and American Racing Headers (ARH) are amazing headers for our cars. If you do some research around here, you will see that a lot of the header discussion is personal preference.

You need gto specific headers.
The gto headers are all the same from 04-06, but the mid pipes are different between 04 and 05/06.

I love my 1-3/4" kooks
But jba just launched a v2 of the long tubes. At 600$ it seems worth the money.
