And it had to be a beautiful day. Cold, but so nice. Anyone go? If so, how was the new venue? Where to get coffee there at 11 AM?

I got up at ten . Turn out was decent, lot was full. Coffee sucked. The people running the coffee cart are we todd did. I felt like I went to a whore house and they said they were all out of pu55y. Note to idiots running coffee cart. Event is called Cars and COFFEE. Make sure you can prepare coffee in a timely manner. It's really easy. Ground coffee beans, hot water.

No sweat, I was kinda divided on the new venue, really don't see how it's more space. I think it may be less, and it sure felt less "organized" than Leander did. But I have to +11ty billion for it being less than half the distance from my house than the previous location.

Will never let the mobile dyno people touch my car. I have never seen anyone have so much trouble backing a car up my whole life. I can't believe they didn't knock off a mirror while I was watching. They also don't do full rpm pulls, so some of those numbers are a bit off. I did get a kick out of watching the little redneck girl running and ducking back and forth in front of the cars while they were at full bore on the dyno, like her running was going to save her scrawny ass if one of them ****s broke loose with her in front of it. Me and a buddy were placing bets on busted mirrors and flattened redneck girls. I also just have to say I fully endorse the way the back of the mobile dyno is aimed right at where all the douchebags park their mustangs in the way of the intersection so you can't get in or out of the right part of the lot off the main entry. While standing to the side and watching the shens go down in and around the mobile dyno, I just could not stop thinking about the windup car launcher I had when I was kid that had a little ramp on it, and you would back a car into it, crank the **** outta the handle, and let the car rip down the ramp and to where ever it would inevitably crash into.

Note to the asshat that parked right on the corner, that "space" was open because it was the road, not a parking space. What was that I was saying about not so organized? The Nazis that ran Leander would have never let that ride. They surely would have parked you in the mud somewhere in the backyard of a neighboring house, next to a car that had absolutely zero relation to yours. "oh nice, new age pontiac GTO? There's a spot right there around the corner between the miltary trucks and a Grabber Maverick. Just go this way and our guy down there will show you".

Last note to coffee cart peeps, we bring the cars, you guys bring the coffee, please don't get it twisted. I am really going to miss having Two Saints on site. They had awesome coffee and the most scrumptious baked goods ever. Can we say huge cookie that makes you drool? The sister wasn't hard to look at either, and may possibly have made some drool as well. Not bad for a white chick.

Anyway, yeah bud, hope to see you at the next one. We were down to 2 new age GTOs this round. Used to be near a dozen or more. Now they need to limit Mustangs, corvettes and camaros. Looks like a GM and Ford stealership sharing a parking lot.

The Leander one is still there on the 1st Sunday of the month. It will still be the one I frequent. I didn't go to this one because of the weather.

Yo! I take my coffee serious! Don't be calling your event cars and coffee and all you do is provide a parking space. You gotta have coffee too. We bring the cars, isn't that the deal?
I had woke up around 6 AM and it was raining so never even bothered to think any further of going. The wife was poking me at 10 AM talking about "are you going to do your car thing?" I looked out the window and decided to brave it. Suited Gina up in her purty black bra and got out of there pronto soono, no time for coffee. Drinks are a no no in Gina so I figured I would relish a tasty cup of the hot java when I got there.
I wished we all lived a bit closer to each other, I miss seeing you guys once a year at Goatfest haha!

So Eddie, I think Jason mentioned it before, but the site doesn't mention that its at both places, just the new one now. Is it just habit that people are still showing or is it an official seperate day/venue?

As far as Two Saints, they opened their second location in Bee Cave, real close to me......ooooohhhhhh cookies.....

yeah, its two events now. leander car show is making some big
changes at the venue, to where vendors have a set-up spot,
and have a dedicated chevy / ford area as well. oasis is the 2nd
sunday of the month, i thought...

Yeah the Leander show isn't Cars and Coffee anymore. There was a lot of BS with the name but it is the first Sunday and the oasis cars and coffee is the second Sunday

Awesome day, good showing. They moved the mobile dyno to the far entrance. That Ford GT that has been seen there a few times got up and pulled a 693.
1 other new age gto there, really clean CGM with a stout stroker under the hood. Nice build shawn!

Coffee guys still don't have **** together. No lids this time.

I was one of the last cars there so you sure didn't look too hard to not see a BOM GTO. , or you weren't just late, you totally missed it. Bummer, maybe see you next time?

It's cool. I really want to round up as many holden owners as possible and take out a whole section one time. That smaller section right in front, the first section you pass as you are coming in, comes to mind. We need about 12 cars, so all the gto's and g8's we can find will fill it up nicely.
