Removed the maf = "Wrench / Service Engine Soon"

My car has been sd tune since the 427 / TVS2300 replaced the 402 /maggie 122. But we recently installed the Hendrix Power Chamber bringing cold air in from in front of the tire and removed the maf. When I fired it up the "Wrench / Service Engine Soon" came up on the DIC. I just decided to take the netbook and hp tuner cable out to the garage and check things a bit. Found that I had a code PO102 for maf. So I went in to the tune file and the DTC codes and removed the check mark for MAF on both that had it. Reloaded tune and fired it up, DIC all clear.

Success !!!

Installation completed. Including new after market coolant tank located to the inside of the drivers fender well.

Thanks. No numbers yet. I had it strapped to the dyno May 3rd but the cf driveshaft didn't play nice, so we had to shut it down.

I have the dyno sheet somewhere. It shows a crap load of power at only 2400rpm. I will see if I can find it.

Tom... Did you use the 04' inner fender liner in with this swap once you removed the overflow tank or just fill the space with something else. I'm looking at maybe going FI in the near future and this looks SEXAY!

yes, we bought the GM 2004 inner fender and eliminated the 2005 overflow tank, And replaced it with the small chrome tank mounted on the inner fender.

I al really liking how it all came together. I am still debating a 102tb.

John, sorry I missed your post.

here's a picture of the K&N filter installed and the filter number. It's a short conical / oval style. We played with several styles and found this one to fit best. We first used a Spectre tube style, it forced the inner fender well to bulge out and rub the tire.
