427 TVS2300 901hp 865 ft lbs.

Anyone else following Shawn's build?

WOW...... 901hp at 6300 rpm's and 865 ft. lbs of torque at 3600 rpm's. All with a set of LS3 heads and 12lbs of boost. My build is almost identical except I used ETP 245 heads and have already seen 17 lbs. with a loose belt.

Belt situation is now under control. I can't wait to get the final bugs worked out and strap this thing back down to the dyno!

Caleb, How many miles you got on that beast now? Always loved that color combo, and you creep around in silent mode... hit the go pedal and awaken the maggie hiding under the hood and your next victim must thing "WTF?"

I think I'm just over 28.5k miles now. I can't wait to get a little closer to work so that I can cut down on the miles that I'm racking up...It definitely is a blast though...It's no 17psi or anything , but when I drive anyone out to lunch and ask if they want to see what a little boost is like, I always get good reactions ...

28.5k not bad. Do you have a boost gauge? If so, what are you seeing?

Yep...I've got the ol' boost gauge...I'm only running just a touch over 5psi...I may get ambitious and either pulley down a little or do and OD crank pulley at some point, but I'm trying to stay on the safe end for now ...
