Replacement key?

What have you guys been doing with regards to replacement keys? I have a couple blanks, but my local GM dealer cant cut them. Any suggestions?

Why wont they cut it? If they cut other keys they should be able to cut the GTO key. It's generally finding the key for a good price that is hard to do. Have you tried calling other dealers?

I had mine cut at a local locksmith. Just need to find one nearby that offers "laser" cutting.

Yeah... I thought the cutting could be done anywhere with the above option.

Programming yourself is also your best bet, once the key is cut.
