Well, I was going to attempt this myself. But I ran across one for sale on LS1Tech so I jumped on it. I am very happy with this piece. It looks completely factory.

Now I'm working out what to do about a fuel door release switch. I bought a nice momentary switch but it's not labeled. After surfing eBay, I found a switch from another GM car that looks like it will work. I'm waiting on it to show up in the mail.

Those are nice! I thought about it myself but I have had my car apart for a year now with other mods so I went with the dash pod setup, for now anyway. With any luck I am going to fire it up this weekend.

Here's my new fuel door release. It's mounted on the seat track trim piece. I made an adapter harness (you can see it in the top right of the photo on the table) to plug into the factory harness in place of the stock fuel door release button. Now I just need to put everything back together.
