Yes these will help with the dim low beams a huge amount. I would highly suggest grabbing some of these... 55w for the lows and 35w for the fogs.

I have 8000k 55w on the lows and 35w 6000ks on the fogs... they match perfectly. Keep this in mind... the 55ws tend to match the slightly lower 35ws. Mine are mostly white with a hint of blue... if you want pure white I would probably go with 6000k 55w on the lows and 4300k 35w on the fogs... or you can go even yellower on the fogs. Keep in mind you do need a yellow fog bulb to actually have use for them in the fog. My 6000k 35w fogs are just for looks, they dont help in the fog...

The XXXXk number is the color and the XXw is the brightness or what is the relation?

Correct, a 6000k bulb will be closest to pure white, 4300k will have a yellowish tint more like a regular bulb. Going to the optional 55w ballasts will increase light output by around 30-40%, but if you choose a color type bulb the added power will wash out the color more.

so i like the 5000k because its a "white or hyper white" im not a big fan of the blue when im driving (gives me a headache).

so....the 55w 6000k would be my best option, correct? i have hid's already installed but the low's are causing problems for teh past 6 months and im going to replace the lows. i have the xenon slim ballasts for highs and lows. have 6000k now and dont like it. but the highs are 5000k and i love em.

long story short....whats the best setup for the "hyper white"? 55w 6000k?

If you want really super white I would go for 55w 5000k. 55w really washes out any color but the 5000k will be the closest to the pure white end of the spectrum. Unfortunately I dont really feel like I have a good supplier for HID's at the moment. If you would like to find someI can help point you to some companies that I trust. I'll most likely be turning these off today.

The only other people I would suggest is DDM Tuning... the slims are really nice for the extra money but not really needed. I and many others have had no issues with the Apexcon Raptor (larger size) they offer... I have 8000k 55w lows, 6000k 35w fogs... almost pure white with a very slight touch of blue in the lows. Goes good with blue cars... but its definitely not too blue. Dont forget to get the wiring harness for 55w HIDs, comes with in line fuse etc so you dont overload your stock light harness/wiring thats only good for 35w.

YES!!!!! Do not wire 55w without a harness... you will have issues later on I guarantee it. Only use 55w for the low beams too... it will melt the fogs. For instance so mine match... I use 55w 8000k lows with 35w 6000k fogs... the 8000k 55w washes out to a perfect match with the 6000ks.

Owell... it will work without it, but who knows how long... usually they start flickering and going out randomly. Just get the harness for it... no headaches

He is not selling those anymore. He hasn't for a while now. He is also extremely busy and that is why he hasn't taken them of his site yet.
