To the grey GTO driving down grand parkway yesterday evening

To the guy that was driving the grey GTO with blue calipers (and an east texas goats sticker on his one window) - thanks for that spirited driving. I don't get to do that very often, but it was fun.

One thing though - after i beat you, you didn't have to race ahead and try to get away from me. We were traveling the same route, and I was just having fun. My car has significantly more HP than yours, so losing is not a big deal - i was just doing it for the fun of it. Would have loved to hang out a little more.

My best friend had a GTO with 700+ RWHP, twin turbo, that ended up burning up in his driveway, so i am very familiar with the GTOs, and respect them tremendously. Still, some cars are just going to be faster - it's not a bad thing... they also cost a lot more too, so as far as bang for the buck, you can't beat the GTO.

Anyway, if you remember me (black CTS-V), would love if you could join us at one of our meets sometime, because i would like to get a better look at your car. It sounded amazing.

Wow.

What a nice way to call 'im out.

Welcome to the forum, man. Just keep the flaming to a minimum, and we'll all remain peaceful here. How about some pics of that CTS-V??? I, personally, LOVE those cars.

Thanks guys. Mad respect for the GTO.

I drove a Generation I CTS-V for 4 years, with the same engine as the GTOs (or the second year onward, to my knowledge) - LS2. So we shared a lot of the same mods, etc

The day I bought my GTO there was a black CTS-V there. I literally had an internal tug of war with myself. I ended up getting the GTO. But if I could have got both of them.... I'd be the happiest woman in the world.
