How much did all the bulbs, etc. set you back? And if you were to install the resistors, where would they need to be installed?

Edit: Just looked up the prices on your links. This little mod is pricier than I originally thought, but ultra cool!

I spent $184 for everything including the resistors and mount brackets. I have been told that you can mount the mount bracket to the bumper bracket just below the tail light harness in side the trunk

I know this is an old thread but i just did mine and have the resistors in but when i put the car in reverse of brake my radio goes to complete static
