GF7 Roommate

Hey all,

I was plaanning on going to GF with my Army roommate, but his unit is not allowing him to get the time off. Due to him not going and splitting the cost, I can't afford the $140 plus taxes a night by myself. I am in the military and can promise you I have good manners and keep my area very clean. I can post up a picture of my barracks room to prove it if you need confirmation.

Either way, I am in need of help with room accomidations. I am more than willing to split the costs with whom ever allows me to stay with them. I would like to stay in F-Burg close to the GF site, but beggers cant be choosers.

I plan on coming in Friday during the day to do the whiskey distillery trip and then stay ing Saturday as well due to my decent drive back to El Paso.

Thank you for looking and your consideration in helping me out with this dilemma.

I split a room with MelloYellow04 last year @ Fredericksburg Inn. We can do the same this year for roughly $180-200 a piece for 2 nights if you want. Check in on Friday after 2pm and check out Sunday by 12pm. I was personally just going to stay @ the Super 8 since its considerably cheaper.

Room @ Super 8 w/2 queens smoking (cant find any non smoking w/2 queens) will be $161.82 if I pay in advance and with a promo code I entered to save a little more. So $80.91 each... thats what we should do imo... its going to cost $160 for 1 or 2 people... so may as well have one other and we can both save $$$. Let me know if your interested...

Super 8 sounds great. I will be more than happy to call and use my Interrogation talking skills to get a non-smoking room....

If you think you can get us a room for the 16-18th, 2 queens... non smoking go for it. I doubt it though and it doesnt really bother me that much... chances are it will be a clean room anyways. I dont smoke cigs... so no smoking will be occurring in the room.

Whenever you figure out exactly what you want to do let me know. You can just paypal your portion of the hotel $$$ to me and I will make/pay for the reservation up front.

If we do it in advance they give you a 10% discount. Then I entered a promo code for a little more off... thats how I got it down to 160ish... otherwise it will be closer to 190.

This is the link to the right one... already set the date and number of people. You can select from the rooms listed... and if use the corporate promo code 67243 it takes another $10 off. You dont have to send the $$$ if your going to make the reservations... i would send my money to you. I was planning on doing it all online and just having you send the your portion to me. Either way works, just let me know how you want to handle it and if you can find a non smoking room with 2 queens for those dates.

Just made reservations, couldnt get the non smoking online with the discount but... he asked me if either of us were military. Soooo ding ding ding we got the military discount... so its going to be $81 each Total of $162.XX. Chose 2nd floor so we dont have noisy people above us. Worked out perfectly... they are going to charge my debit card the day we get there. So I will make sure to have all the money in my account before I leave that morning. You can either give me cash when we meet in Fredericksburg or paypal it to me and it will be in the my debit paypal/mastercard account that I put it under.

No worries.. when we check in maybe they will have nonsmoking available. If not, its not like I have never been in an undisarable place before....hehehe. Can I paypal you on Sept 1 when I get paid next? Reason I ask is due to all these little expenses that keep plaguing me. If not, I will work something out and paypal you as soon as possible.

New oil and filter is a must... never open up an engine and work on it like that without replacing the oil before running. I dropped the old oil out before the first start, put new oil in with new filter... ran it, then used amsoil engine flush, dropped it out again and put fresh oil and filter for the final time. You can use cheaper synthetic for the stuff you know isnt staying in there long.

You have brake cleaner, engine degreaser, paper towels, q tips, coolant additive to make it run colder?

Brake cleaner and engine degreaser to make it run colder? I dont follow the logic on that as I am still very retarded about most things engine-wise. What is this coolant additive you speak of? I have never ran that before.

The coolant additive is the only thing I was saying will make it run cooler. Its an additive for the coolant that keeps it cooler... royal purple ice, redline coolant boost or amsoil dominator are all great. You can always add it later though...
