HSV got some Hinson motormounts

While we were doing the other work, we opted to replace the factory motor mounts with a set of stock height rubber core from Hinson. Can definitely tell a difference. Car actually seems to be a bit more responsive. Solid feeling, but not any more noise, etc.

Worthwhile and glad I used these.

Good to hear the review. I am on first gen Noltec mounts and I'm not real comfortable with staying with them. I wish Hinson would hurry up and make a tranny mount.

Hard for me to really say. We did them while doing a header install. So we didn't have any exhaust in the way to deal with.

easiest way is to remove the mount bracket from the side of
the block 1st ( while supporting the engine static ), then remove
the mount from the bracket - then reverse for install.

Car feels firmer, solid. But does not shake and shimmy like money pit with the solid mounts. Seems to respond to the throttle better then stock.
