Yeah, if i downshift it at higher rpm's and get on it thats when i'll see boost going higher than about 8.5 or so. I have had it hit just shy of 11psi more than once though. I have a slighter smaller cam than what you were running so i may be a bit more restricted allowing that small increase. .

But you also have better flowing heads and more cubes than a LS1 right? I would think that would drop boost a little.
